History

Lindridge Enterprises was set up in April 2012 to work alongside Trinity Specialist College to develop Social Enterprises in the local community and become a source of employment for young people with Learning Disabilities and/or Autism.

It became a registered Charity in August 2015 with a vision to create an employment focussed centre with innovation and creativity at its heart.

Meet the Trustees

There are 5 members on the board of trustees all of whom have a wealth of experience with children and young people with Disabilities and /or Autism. They have worked strategically with the Local Authority in Birmingham to design, develop and provide education and community services in partnership with the young people and their families to help them reach their aspirations. Sally Evans MBE

Sally has been working with young people with disabilities and their families for the last 17 years. She has worked strategically with Birmingham Parent/Carer forums and organisations to provide services for the young people. Sally is a director of Trinity Specialist College which was set up in 2011 for young people with severe learning disabilities and/or Autism post 18 years old.

John Lymn

John Lymn

Since leaving the corporate world, John has worked with the FE sector for over 18 years. John has his own business that specialises in consultancy and compliance within post 16 Education. He is also Chair of his local Strategic Community Group in Boldmere, working with Birmingham City Council, Sutton Coldfield Town Council and with cross party Councillors on development of services within the community plus events and educational projects. In addition, he is a successful bid writer and supporter of projects that cross all social and economic boundaries.

John Powell

I have a background in Further Education. I have also been a Team Leader for the Special Education Needs Assessment Service and an Independent Supporter working with Families to secure Education, Health and Care Plans. I am particularly passionate about helping people with Learning Difficulties and Disabilities to maximise their potential.
